8/10 I loved this movie. Was a different side of Harmony Korine no one had seen before, and it was very worthwhile. Harmony is best known for writing Kids and writing/directing Gummo (one of my all time favorites). Korine has a way of taking reality and highlighting certain things that would never be highlighted in the mainstream. I think that's what makes him so appealing to me. His subject matter is always a challenge to experience, but it really shows you the depths of life and what people around the world every day have to live with. Spring Breakers may not be the best "intro to Korine" movie, but it probably is the most tolerable for those easily bothered by gritty realistic drama. (Go see Gummo too.
